Pilgrims on wheels

CeasareaMarch pilgrimage bike ride was an exciting event which we were proud to take part of. Jews, Christians and Muslims from different places in Germany, rode together some 800Km in the holy land.

On March of this year we had the honor to be part of a pilgrimage bike ride from Germany to Jerusalem.

The group, organized by Dr Josef Wieman, made the journey over the course of 4 years, with the goal of promoting inter-faith understanding.

The group consisted of Jews, Christians and Muslims from different places in Germany. The last section of this ride started in Tel Aviv and ended in Jerusalem.

Ein Karem- Bike RideWe left the city heading north along the Coast, through the Carmel Mountain and Haifa. We biked to Naharia, Tzfat and the Golan Heights, and then headed south along the Jordan River.

After reaching the Dead Sea the group climbed to Arad and then for the last day bike to Jerusalem ending with a victorious entry to the City.

The end of a four year Journey

The ride was a total of 800Km in 10 days of cycling.

For the staff of Gordon Active, it was very special to be part of such a group and to be part of this important cause.

The ride from city to city, from village to village gave the group a true feeling of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  Thank you for letting us be a part of your Journey!
